Origin Story
Mr. Duck Man was "hatched" quite by accident!
As an avid cruiser of several decades, fellow passengers began telling him about the newest trend of hiding and finding rubber ducks. As luck would have it, he soon found his first hidden duck! Moments later, as he was looking the duck over a boy walked by and spontaneously asked, "Hey, Mr. Duck Man, can I have that duck?" Although a little confused by the reference, he responded, "If you want it, you can have it" and readily handed it to the boy who promptly thanked him and began admiring his new duck. Then the boy happily skipped away while enthusiastically repeating, "Can I get a quack quack? Can I get a quack quack?"
In the following days he kept thinking about how that short, simple interaction generated such happiness, on both their parts, and wondered if it could be replicated. So, on his upcoming cruises he brought hundreds of ducks to hide and handout to bring that same kind of happiness to others. Soon fellow cruisers, young and old, began eagerly referring to him as THE "Mr. Duck Man" and so he wholeheartedly embraced his new moniker.
Mr. Duck Man exists simply because of you, you, and YOU! His mission is to bring a bit of happiness and joy to everyone he meets. THANK YOU for allowing him the opportunity to do so!
